Weight loss Drink Mixer?
I am taking this stuff called glucaffect, its a very good weight loss supplement. It is by Reliv. I have seen friends with great results. Problem is, I can barely get it down. It has a cinnamon taste,is very thick and mixes very poorly. I have been blending it with chocolate milk since that is thick and has a strong taste. But still I can barely drink it. Does anyone have any ideas as to another beverage to mix it with or something to put in it. Thanks!

I own a health and nutrition business and have taught fitness. Glucaffect is great for addressing metabolic syndrome, balancing blood sugars and eliminating a lot of cravings, but mixing it can be a problem if you don’t know some of the secrets! LOL!
You should get in touch with the people who introduced you to Glucaffect and ask them to connect you with others with similar challenges to get some recipies for it, as there are quite a few available – too many to list here. However, here are some suggestions I have found from personal use and from others I know who are taking it:
Mix it with hot coffee or hot tea. Mixing it with coffee (decaf if you’re not a coffee drinker!) will give it the taste of an absolutely heavenly cinnamon latte! Mixing it with tea gives it a taste of a cinnamon chai tea! You can drink Glucaffect hot so this is a good solution and a great winter warmer.
Mixing it in a blender or with a “Magic Bullet” also will help. I do mix it with my regular shakes at times, but you are right – it makes them quite thick. Adding it to some juice such as diluted apple juice seems to also enhance the flavor (think cinnamon apple cider) which even tastes better hot, but I suspect an apple tea may also have a less fattening effect.
Asking the people who introduced you to Glucaffect to connect you to others will give you a vast variety of other solutions, (not to mention support, encouragement and instruction, as you will probably need to be talked through some of the side effects while your body adjusts to it also!
