I have some questions about my daughter’s upcoming 4th Birthday party…?
I am having my daughter’s 4th Birthday Tinkerbell/ Peter Pan Birthday party at a place called Toddle Town. It is basically an indoor playground that is specifically for toddlers. My daughter has cerebral palsy and cannot walk.
Everything I find online lists all these fun games and crafts to do. Is it okay if I don’t do structured games and crafts and just let the kids run wild and play? I did plan on giving the boys pirate hats, swords and eye patches and giving the girls wands, wings, and pixie dust to play into the Tinkerbell/ Peter Pan theme.
There is going to be at least 20 kids (all her friends from preschool) and I suspect most of the parents will stay, do I need to prepare anything to keep them entertained?
For a 2 1/2 hr party, do I need to provide snacks in addition to the pizza and cake? If so, what do you suggest for snacks?
I really appreciate your advice. This is the first birthday party that will be friends and not family.
If your daughter won’t be able to run and play with her friends it wouldn’t be fair to her to have them go play while she sits there and watches them. I recommend crafts or something that doesn’t involve running so your daughter doesn’t feel left out of her own birthday party.
