i cant find what is holding the intake plenium of my car on help?
it is an 87 lincoln town car i searched around the entire thing multiple times even ran my hand around it to see if i missed any bolt but to no avail. i removed 4 bolts and the mount for the accelerator but i cant get it to budge is it possible it is glued down if so is using a rubber mallet advissiable method of loosing it.
yes, they wouldve put gasket glue on it.
firstly make sure there is no more screws or bolts coming up from underneath and then start wiggling it off.
also some sort of solvent will weaken the glue
